The New Energy Days took place from 21 March to 24 March. This year the event was divided into two parts: New Energy Expert and New Energy Home. The New Energy Expert was a fair with accompanying congress and took place in the exhibition hall from Thursday to Saturday.
The New Energy Home was an exhibition for sustainable lifestyle and took place from Friday to Sunday. FURGY CLEAN Innovation and other partners jointly organised the congress programme which you can find here:
In addition to the congress, FURGY CLEAN Innovation anchored its project goals in a German-Danish memorandum of understanding:
Cross-border cooperation for renewable energies
The Network Agency Erneuerbare Energien Schleswig-Holstein (EE.SH) and the cluster organisation CLEAN from Denmark want to cooperate more intensively across borders in the future. The two organisations agreed on this at the New Energy Days in Husum.
Thanks to many highly innovative companies in Schleswig-Holstein and the southern part of Denmark, the border region is taking on a pioneering role in energy system transformation and climate protection. The joint potential will be used to an even greater extent in the future.
“I am sure that as organisations we can learn a lot from each other and act together even more specifically in the interest of our respective members”, says Henrik Bjerregaard, Head of the Energy Department at CLEAN.
CLEAN is a cluster organisation representing Denmark and was founded in 2006. Now CLEAN represents around 160 companies in the fields of energy production, energy efficiency, storage and networks. EE.SH, active since 2015, represents around 120 companies in Schleswig-Holstein that are primarily involved in generation, but also storage, sale and services related to renewable energies. The cooperation between the two organisations was established as part of the implementation of the FURGY CLEAN Innovation project.
